The megrim is another underestimated flatfish to be found in U.K. waters, much of what our fishermen land goes to Spain. You can have it here as large skin on fillets. An absolutely stunning British flat fish fillet also known as a Cornish Sole (not to be mixed up with the Witch - Torbay Sole)

This current stock was bought on 10th April 2024 and blast frozen.

This is skin on, boneless haddock bought off Grimsby Fresh Fish Auction and processed by us. We then blast freeze each fillet individually. A full box weighs 10lb (4.54 Kilo)
Each fillet weighs between 8-12oz (230-330gm) Each box contains approximately 12-14 fillets.

We buy the raw cod roe at the Grimsby Fish Market during the winter and boil it and/or smoke it. You can buy it here either cooked or smoked. After cooking we cut into handy sized portions and vacuum pack. You have to slice it and fry it, bacon fat works best. Spread the smoked on bread, toast or crackers. Enjoy these products all year round from the freezer.

Dog fish, rock salmon, rock eel, huss... It's the fish of many names is this one. We buy fresh from the English south coast, portion up and blast freeze for ten minutes. Seemingly very popular down south but nowadays enjoyed nationwide.

This is the male herring roe often known as soft roe. Back on stock after a few years absence. We sell it here in a frozen box containing 5 x 454gm portions. Delicious warmed up under the grill after spreading on toast.

Here you can buy frozen lemon sole fillets and frozen plaice fillets at a discounted price. All products bought at the Grimsby Fish Market this year then filleted and blast frozen on site. Sold in a sealed 1 kilo bag. Good quality fish fillets reduced to clear immediately after purchase. Not the biggest sized fillet but a kilo bag serves plenty. Perfect freezer easer products for quick meals.

These frozen skate wings are caught by Norwegian long line vessels fishing around Rockall, they are frozen on board within minutes of being removed from the hook. Shallow fry after dusting with flour and add the obligatory capers.

This halibut is blast frozen on site from our fresh product on the day of processing. It is one, perhaps two, pieces of fish weighing in total between 900 grams - 1.1 kilo. Shapes and sizes vary but the weight and quality remains superb. Defrost a whole piece to cook or temper off until you can portion with a knife and then pop back into the freezer. Once fully defrosted eat within 5 days. A box of frozen individually smaller one person sized portions is available elsewhere on the site.

Red mullet fillets, mullet may be a terrible hairstyle but it is a delightful tasting fish and these fillets have a tender and flavoursome flesh, perfect for the bbq..

Our comforting pie mix is a selection of skinless and boneless white fish, superior salmon and smoked cod or haddock, there is no particular ratio of either but all can be cooked together as the base for a hearty meaty fish pie, add cold water cooked and peeled prawns after cooking to enhance the flavour. There is a lot of fish for a very large fish pie here. Although we take care to remove bones some may remain.

The monkfish, often known as the angler fish, has got to be the ugliest fish we sell. You will not receive it in its full glory though. Here you can buy the prized skinless and boneless thick tail fillets. You'll eat the whole lot - there is no skin or bone on these.

There has been a lot of these landed in winter 2024. We have frozen plenty and can reduce the price.

Red Snapper used to be a common Mediterranean fish but over fishing and polluted waters have seen its demise. Ours come from the Atlantic coast of West Africa and are currently available as fillet portions.

A 4.54 kilo box of around 20 boneless halibut steaks each vacuum packed for the freezer. Snowy white steaks, pop in the pan for a few minutes - special food.
